IT’S TIME TO SPRING CLEAN!

Daisies bloom gracefully in a sunny field.

Daughters of God,

We’re about a month and some change into spring. Have you done any spring cleaning?

IT’S TIME TO MAKE ROOM.

IT’S TIME TO MAKE ROOM.

IT’S TIME TO MAKE ROOM.

Guess what? God is doing a NEW THING in your life and you CANT SEE IT because when there is too much clutter, it’s hard to see anything.

You’re hoarding things that should’ve been thrown out a long time ago. check those expiration dates, sis.

Your house (aka your mind, your heart, your soul) is cluttered because you’ve kept many things from the past (that add no value to your life) because you believe that they will be useful in the future. You’re holding onto their potential. You even hold on to some things because you deem it to be something sentimental and meaningful. And that’s the worst. To let go of the things that somehow remind you of your past and times you were particularly happy. Those things can easily become idols – (anything you love more than God and obedience to God) Those things can easily keep you stuck on a loop of “what was”, preventing you from moving forward into WHAT IS.

You’re holding onto things God told you to let go of because of WHAT IFs + ONE DAYs…

What if I need __?

What if so and so needs __?

What if they change?

What if they treat me better?

What if the job gets better?

One day they’ll love me…

One day I’ll need this…

One day this will come in handy…

One day he will see my worth…

One day we will be close again…

it’s time to let it all go.

God is doing a new thing. In order to receive it, you gotta let some things go. You gotta let some people go. You gotta let go of some habits, behaviors, thoughts, beliefs…They are not serving you, they’re sabotaging you. They aren’t helping you or pushing you closer to Christ.

It’s time to take inventory of what you’ve been hoarding. The things that have just been taking up unnecessary space in your life. The dead and expired things…the unfruitful relationships and friendships…the destructive patterns, beliefs, addictions…LET THEM GO.

You will never be who God created you to be if you are holding onto who you used to be and what you used to do.

And here’s the thing…you don’t have to do it alone. I know you’re so used to doing things on your own. Trying to figure it out on your own. But gone are the days! You have a sisterhood available to you to do life with.

It’s a place where we can chat, post, + even have livestreams! I desire for you all to get to know one another and pour into each other just as much.

Click here to join! – This is the way we will build + grow as sisters in Christ. We pray for and with one another, we study the Word of God together, we meet up in person to eat lunch, do activities together. Andddd we have so many fun things in store for the summer!

Daughters of God -- It's about identity. You're a daughter first. That means before you are a wife, mom, business owner, employee, sister, friend...you are a daughter. It's time to come back to your position in Christ. We merge faith + mental health over here. Trauma skews our identities. Join us as we navigate how to walk in our God given identities and begin the spiritual, mental + emotional work of undressing trauma before our Father in order to go forth boldly in the mission + assignment He has given us.
