Daughters of God, THIS MORNING'S PRAYER CALLLLL!!!! Chile, if it wasn't for anybody else, IT. WAS. FOR. ME. Holy Spirit was yoking us up becauseeeeee we have allowed our comfort to keep us from going forth AND also remaining steadfast in what the Lord has instructed us to do. God does not care about our comfort. Wow that's a little harsh Shaniqua….it's the truth. The Lord cares about our condition but He cares less about our comfort. What does that mean? Every storm, every circumstance, every situation we face – He has already equipped us for it. It's in us. We have what it takes, lest He wouldn't have allowed it. Every storm is designed to deposit something IN us, as well as pull something OUT of us. So the storm that you're facing, it will pull out of you what God has already put in you. (it will also expose & pull out what doesn't need to be there) But it will also deposit something on the inside of you…something that you did not have beforehand. God would not allow us to walk in the calling if He knew we were in terrible condition. (hence why He cares about our condition) That's why you may be like “God why hasn't this happened yet, why am I not married yet, why don't I have this or that yet, why am I not walking in my calling yet…” The Lord withholds certain things for a time because of our condition. He desires to first heal our condition (soul surgery) before He gives us certain things because He know that we would absolutely ruin it. (and sometimes He will allow us to have certain things to show us the condition of our hearts) BUT, He will however allow us to walk in our calling regardless of our comfort. Why? because it's not just about you!! ITS BIGGER THAN YOU!!! So, He will gladly overlook your comfort to get you to where He needs you to be! There are souls attached to your assignment. Is this making sense daughter? Let me know. We cannot rely on our feelings EVERRRRR but especially in this season. In the wilderness, don't rely on your feelings. In the desert, don't rely on your feelings. You can't trust them. Even in the promise land, don't rely on your feelings. It may cause you to self sabotage. Your feelings will cause you to see something that's not there.(not the faith type of sight either…the delusional type daughter…lol)Your feelings include your comfort. + YOUR COMFORT WILL CAUSE YOU TO FORFEIT THE PROMISE. + YOUR COMFORT WILL CAUSE YOU TO GIVE UP PREMATURELY. + YOUR COMFORT WILL CAUSE YOU TO STAY IN THE BOAT WHEN THE LORD CALLED YOU OUT. + YOUR COMFORT WILL CAUSE YOU TO NOT GET IN THE BOAT AT ALL, WHEN THE LORD CALLED YOU TO. IF the Lord cared about our comfort, He wouldn't have led the children of Israel out of Egypt. They were reallllll comfortable there. They became comfortable in their chaos, in their bondage. If the Lord cared about our comfort, He would have allowed them to leave the wilderness earlier than 40 years…lol because we know they were REAL UNCOMFORTABLE there. Why? because it didn't look like what they were used to. It forced them to live differently, respond differently, it forced them to trust and depend on God. It was uncomfortable. In fact, Exodus 13:17 says "Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them [by] way of the land of the Philistines, although that [was] near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.”' What does that tell us? It tells us that the Lord intentionally led them by way of the wilderness, even though there was a quicker way. The plan that God had was so much bigger than their comfort. And He needed them to go the wilderness way for a purpose. We find that in Deuteronomy 8:2, “And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you [and] test you, to know what [was] in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.” THAT is the purpose of the wilderness.
& your comfort is a threat to what the Lord desires to do in you. Your comfort is a threat to your calling. It's a threat to your assignment. Daughter, surrender comfort in this season. Choose calling over comfort.Your finances may make you feel a little uncomfortable…still do what the Lord told you to do. The way people respond may make you feel a little uncomfortable…still say what the Lord told you to say.You may not know what is on the other side but still go where the Lord told you to go. Don't wait for your feelings to catch up. Leave them behind. Leave behind comfort & choose to walk boldly in the calling, the assignment on your life. |
