Quick lesson on agreement based on our prayer call this morning…

Google's definition of agreement says “a negotiated and typically legally binding arrangement between parties as to a course of action.”

The greek definition of agree in the strong's concordance says “to be harmonious, to accord with, to bargain”

Here's the question I asked this morning, “Where have you agreed with the enemy? In what area have you come into agreement with the enemy? How have your thoughts, words or actions (OR INACTION) come into agreement with the enemy? Because when we DON'T DO what God TOLD US TO DO, we have come into agreement with the enemy & his plan for us through our rebellion. When you don't reject something, you accept it. There is no middle ground in the kingdom of God, there is no grey area. If you are not for Him, you're against Him. If you don't agree with Him or THE FULLNESS of His word, you disagree. One or the other. Hot or cold.

This morning I read Mark 5 on the prayer line. The people in this passage could not bind the demon possessed man…why? because they had AGREED with the demons in him. When Jesus freed that man of those demons, the people were AFRAID!!! They begged Jesus to leave. They had become so accustomed to their chaos, so comfortable with their pet demons and that is why they could not BIND them. Because they were in agreement with them.

So if you're wondering why you're still struggling with x,y,& z …I'll ask you this – where have you come into agreement with the enemy concerning that thing & have you come out of agreement with it?

By the definition I listed above, your agreement is a LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT. Did you know that SATAN is a LEGALIST!?!?!? The kingdom of darkness, no matter how wicked – THEY MUST OBEY LAW! They play by the RULES. They apply law & obey law. That's why Satan is still free to roam, because he has not crossed a boundary aka broken THE LAW. anddddd why is that? Because you have given him PERMISSION by your agreement. & also, you don't know your rights…(the Bible is spiritual law)

1 John 4:18 says “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves TORMENT…”

Did you know that one of the definitions for torment says penal infliction? Yeah I had to look it up too, it means prescribing the punishment of offenders under the legal system.

I don't have time to unpack this the way I really want to right now…but I'll leave you with this…Have you agreed with Satan in your thoughts? Have you agreed with him in your words? Have you agreed with him in your actions or inaction? Have you been negotiating with or bargaining with the enemy?

When you doubt God & doubt what He has said, you begin to agree with Satan.

FATHER IN THE NAME OF JESUS, I REPENT FOR NOT AGREEING WITH YOUR WORD CONCERNING ME, MY LIFE, & EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE. I RENOUCE EVERY AGREEMENT I HAVE MADE WITH SATAN & THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS BY WAY OF THOUGHT, WORD, OR DEED KNOWINGLY OR UNKNOWINGLY. I CAST DOWN EVERY THOUGHT, IMAGINATION & HIGH THING THAT EXALTS ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOU & I TAKE IT CAPTIVE NOW TO MAKE IT OBEDIENT TO CHRIST. I NOW DECLARE THAT I AGREE WITH YOUR WORD, I AGREE WITH WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT ME, I AGREE WITH WHO YOU SAY I AM, I AGREE WITH WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT MY LIFE AND MY CIRCUMSTANCES REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE OR FEELS LIKE. I DECLARE EVERY WORD & THOUGHT & FEELING A LIAR IF IT DOES NOT ALIGN WITH YOUR WORD. IN JESUS' NAME, AMEN.

Pray this as often as you need to. Disagree with every lie the enemy has spoken to you and over you. Disagree with every thought that does not align with the Lord. Disagree with what your finances look like right now.

& agree with God QUICKLY on the matter.
