Daughters of God,

A QUICK WORD FROM THIS MORNING'S PRAYER CALL:

We are purified as we press in. Our press produces a pure oil. We are purified in the pressing!! We’re purified in His presence. Purified for our assignments. Just as Joshua the high priest was purified in Zechariah 3 given clean garments. (Garments significant for his calling) & (Not just purifying him personally but the entire priesthood and people) Just as Isaiah was purified in Isaiah 6, with the hot coal to his mouth. Purifying him for his role and assignment as a prophet. (His mouth was significant for his calling)

Ask the Lord: Lord, how are you purifying me for my assignment? What are the impurities being removed?

As we press into His presence, as we ascend, things must fall off of us. (Picture a rocket launching into space and the parts that are no longer needed breaking off of it)

Our press produces pure oil that keeps the lamp burning.

Exodus 27:20 (NKJV) “And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually. “

Where is your oil!?!? We should be producing oil!! We are expected to be producing oil.

Get this!! In Matthew 26:36 The garden of Gethsemane….Gethsemane means “an oil press”. Jesus’s place of sorrow, grief and suffering produced a pure oil!!

Our suffering produces oil. Our obedience produces oil.

Everything we need we will find as we press! If you need clarity, press in. Your pressing produces an oil that will fill a lamp which produces light allowing you to see. But you won’t see unless you press in.

The oil in the lamp also serves as a light for others!

Press in even when it doesn’t benefit you in the moment. Jesus welcomed the pressing in the garden of Gethsemane even though it didn’t benefit Him in that moment. He gave us the blueprint.

I also looked up the difference between crushing olives for oil and pressing olives for oil. There is a difference. Here’s what the internet said “Although crushing may be a faster and less expensive technique, the oil obtained with olive pressing is considered the better choice…producing a higher quality oil”

2 Corinthians 4:8 (NKJV) [We are] hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; [we are] perplexed, but not in despair….”

HARD PRESSED YET NOT CRUSHED!!!!

Pressing is a lot more expensive, it’ll cost much more AND it takes longer. But the result is a much richer, pure oil.
