GO FORTH DAUGHTER.

A sunflower is bright under the sunlight in the sky.

Daughters of God,

But first, choose this day who you will serve. You may say, well what do you mean Shaniqua? I serve God….Ok, cool. Do your thoughts reflect that? Do your actions reflect your choice to serve Christ? What about the words that come out of your mouth? Don't just say you serve God with your words, let your actions also prove that you serve God.

Abram was 75 years old when the Lord told him to leave his father's house and go to a land that the Lord would show him. Abram's father's house served other gods. The Lord was requiring Abram to choose. Will you serve the gods of your family or will you serve Yahweh? Who is your master? Who do you call lord? The decisions you make and the thoughts that you think, reflect who your lord is. The Bible says that Abram departed as the Lord said (Genesis 12:4). & Guess what daughter? He did it without protest.

Isaiah 1:19 says “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land…” This promise is conditional though. IF you are WILLING AND OBEDIENT. That word willing means ready to accept without protest to do what someone else wants.

I had to ask myself this question: Have I accepted the will of the Lord without protest? My answer was no. Why? Because any time you respond with a “but…” “well….” a hesitation or a pause, that is a PROTEST.

A protest is defined as a statement or action expressing disapproval of or objection to something, to what someone has said or done.

Now I ask you Daughter, have you accepted the will of the Lord without protest? Today is a new day. The Lord is calling you to do, to go, to speak & you need to do it BOLDLY.

God told Abram to leave (Genesis 12) without all the details. What does that tell me? Your understanding is not required for obedience. So here's what needs to happen….

DO WHAT GOD SAYS DO.

GO WHERE GOD SAYS GO.

SAY WHAT GOD SAYS TO SAY.

Don't wait for the details to be obedient. Don't wait until you see it, to believe it. Just trust that your Father knows what's best for you. Trust that all you need to do is show up as a willing vessel. Trust that when you step out in faith & in obedience, the Lord will honor your faith.

Go forth. The time is now.
